With a total of 17 global medals across 400m and 4x400m, the first British woman to win an Olympic gold over 400m, and the first woman to secure a championship medal in six consecutive World championships, she is one of the most decorated female athletes in British history. Movement is medicine, and so come and join Mind Your Strides, where we honour all aspects of your fitness journey which is essential for good mental health. A special focus is given to the foundations of movement from walking to running. Sessions are versatile and includes exercises and drills that help with mobility, stretching, coordination, balance and control with a touch of cardio With regular application you can build confidence, improve technique for running ensuring every stride counts and condition the body from head to toe.

As a Licensed Athletics coach, Christine works with a variety of abilities – from the unathletic to the elite helping to improve running technique, fitness, and efficiency of movement. Whether you are new to training, or competing at elite level or an athlete from another sport looking to enhance speed and movement, each session will be tailored to goals and ability. Christine is enthusiastic to create opportunities for all to get active!

Christine draws on her experiences in life and sport to motivate and empower and has an extensive ability to speak to a variety of audiences, from corporate arenas to charities to schools and universities. Christine has delivered notable speeches for McDonalds, Virgin, Visa, Standard Chartered Bank, UCL and UEL amongst others, using humour and empathy whilst focusing on themes such as mental fortitude, bouncing back from disappointment, and working towards difficult goals.

There is no better landscape to support and challenge ideals for good business than on the sports field. Christine creates bespoke training sessions for the team to excite, encourage team collaboration and inspire mental toughness. This opportunity takes place door to the iconic London Stadium home to the illustrious London 2012 Olympics where Chistine won her silver Olympic medal and allows participants to train and learn alongside an Olympic and World Champion at the one lap distance.

Christine shares her experiences from her international sporting career from both Netball and Athletics. Following her career in sport, Christine developed an extensive knowledge base from her time spent in the legal field and sports governance. Christine understands the power of giving back and offers advice and wisdom that’s honest, empowering, and rooted in lived experience.

Christine dedicated nearly two decades to an international sporting career, a journey that began in her teens and spanned across two sports.
The empowering insights drawn from her long and successful career represent uniquely lived experiences that few can match. Christine retired from athletics as a 4-time Olympian with an Olympic Gold, Silver, and 2 Bronze medals.
She was World Champion twice and secured a medal at every World Championship she participated in, a remarkable statistic achieved by only three athletes in history.
Following her retirement from athletics, Christine discovered how these insights are easily transferable to and wholly applicable in all aspects of everyday life, work, school, and relationships.

Christine partnered with UEL to create the first documentary in the series, ‘No Man Is An Island’ which seeks to tell the stories of the essential support networks all athletes need to participate in their sport. Watch ‘no man is an island’ here
